The inaugural meeting of the Travel Club was held on 5 July 2010 with 15 members attending and 5 other interested members still overseas.

The content of meetings is being tailored to meet the various needs of members, and will include regular speakers, experiences with do's and don'ts, information re local and international travel, cruises, etc.
