Welcome
A warm welcome is extended to new club members,
ladies and younger members, previous players and those
who would just like to give it a try . The Bays
Club has three full size tables.
Monthly
Activities
These are listed in the Club Calendar and Newsletter
Eligibility
All financial Bays Club Members are entitled to use
the facilities and also participate in the club night on
Mondays plus the various club championships.
Snooker
Club Night
Each Monday evening from 7pm the Snooker section has
exclusive use of the tables. Depending on numbers,
the most common format is Drawn Pairs (based on combined
handicaps) although singles are played with a lower
turnout. Handicaps ensure a variety of playing
partners of differing skill levels.
To allow for a minimum of four games for the night, the
games are timed and usually of 20-30 minutes duration.
Monday evenings are generally of a more fun nature and a
minimal entry fee covers the cost of prizes.

Club championships are open to all financial Bays
Club members and played throughout the year,
mostly on a weekend.

In House League
Monday Night Play
Interclub
The Bays Club competes in the Interclub Competition
between Auckland chartered clubs (fortnightly for about
6 months) on a home and away basis. this is
an excellent opportunity to play different clubs and
meet other players.
Other
Gatherings
The Over 60s gather on Monday mornings and members
and their guests are welcome for a nominal fee. Contact

Other informal groups regularly play during the week.
